Gweep was first coined in the 1970s at a university somewhere in America (I don't recall exactly where), which described someone who hacked computers very late at night. Think of a nightowl who sits on their computer and writes out what their code does. That's gweep.
I first heard about Gweep from my friend, after I was invited to a group chat named "gweep", because it was a funny sound. I bought "Gweep.co" shortly after in the hopes that it would turn into a clothes brand, which obviously never happened.
Gweep.co was a burner domain for about a year since its registration, and was stuck in limbo due to my own opportunity-cost-anxiety about the domain. I'm sure that there is a greater project that gweep would be under, but if I didn't use it for this website, I likely wouldn't of used it at all.
Now, it's my own personal website. How cool!
